2 / What can I do to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19)?
The most important measures to prevent the spread of Coronavirus are very simple and apply to all viruses that can cause flu and colds. It is important to follow them at all times - before, during and after the event:
- Wash your hands with soap and water often, for at least 20 seconds
- Always wash your hands when you get home or into work
- Use hand sanitize gel if soap and water are unavailable
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when coughing or sneezing
- Put used tissues in the garbage straight away and wash your hands afterwards
- Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
