The second edition of the Amsterdam Coffee Festival has come to its close, but don’t worry – we’ll be back in March 2016 for a bigger and better event.
The second edition of the Amsterdam Coffee Festival has come to its close, but don’t worry – we’ll be back in March 2016 for a bigger and better event.
Bringing together a wide range of exhibitors from within the artisan coffee and food sector, more than 7,000 people (including 2,463 trade visitors) people visited the NDSM-werf across the three days of the festival to enjoy all things coffee.
Almost 100 exhibitors joined us from across Europe, including Kees Van Der Westen, Stooker Coffee Co, Da Silva Beans & Leafs, Bocca Coffee and Five Elephant.
The event featured all sorts of activities, including La Marzocco’s True Artisan Café with Espresso Services West, the Hario Brew Bar, Alpro’s Coffee Bar and illy’s Walk-In Cinema.
Visitors could also take part in workshops and seminars in the festival’s popular Lab programme and enjoy world cuisine at the Street Food Market.
There were also several new products launched at the festival, including KaffeeForm, The Opera from Sanremo and the Linea Mini from La Marzocco.
As well as all of the workshops and activities, each day of the festival had a different SCAE NL championship taking place. Competition was strong so a huge congratulations to the winners:
- Dutch Brewerscup Champion 2015 – Rob Kerkhoff, BABO Coffee
- Dutch Latte Art Champion 2015 – Nick Vink, H32
- Dutch Cuptasters Champion 2015 – Yoeri Joosten, Boot Koffie
