Mornings would be so much harder without the radio and a cup of freshly brewed coffee and this combination of caffeine and music is enjoyed by people the whole world over.
The Coffee Music Project is a movement that blends the coffee and music worlds into one, giving aspiring artists and songwriters a platform to share their passion for music and coffee culture, while raising money and awareness for Project Waterfall.

After several weeks of hard work and fantastic musical talent, it all came down to one night at the O2 Academy in Islington – the final.
Semi-finalist Cat Maria – who’d never performed live until the project – warmed us all up with her song
Like Coffee and then the final round got underway.
Stand out performances came from Rothwell, with her sultry voice, acoustic musician Sam Brett and Rich Stephenson’s hilarious song
Coffee Makes Me Do Things.
However, it was
Jessica Murae ft Ben Coleman who had the crowd shouting and cheering and although there were just a few points in it, the judges seemed to agree, awarding them first place in the 2015 competition.
- 1st place – Jessica Murae ft Ben Coleman
- 2nd place – Rich Stephenson
- 3rd place – Rothwell
The other talented finalists were:
- Belle and the Busker
- Joseph Lofthouse
- Rich Stephenson
- Sam Brett
- Zedo
Huge congratulations to Jessica and Ben who will be performing at both the London and Amsterdam Coffee Festival, and to all of the other finalists and judges for their hard work and dedication.
